Effective 6 November 2026
This policy explains what information the Repair platform - the Repair customer app, the Repair technician app, and their supporting services - collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you. It covers only the data these applications actually collect and the third-party services they actually use.
We collect the following, and only the following, categories of information:
We do not collect device advertising identifiers, browsing history outside the app, or any information beyond what is listed above.
We use the information above to: create and manage your account; let you book a service and let a coordinator assign a suitable technician to it; process and verify payments; show you and, where relevant, your assigned technician the details needed to complete a job; send you in-app updates about your bookings; and keep the platform secure and working correctly.
We rely on the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each processes the specific data needed for its role, under its own privacy and security practices:
We do not use advertising networks or analytics services that track you across other apps or websites, and Repair does not sell your personal information.
We share information only as needed to provide the service: your booking and contact details are shared with the technician assigned to that specific booking, and payment details are shared with Razorpay to process a payment. We do not share your information with any other third party, and we do not sell it. Technicians only ever see details for bookings they have been assigned - they cannot browse or search other customers' information.
Passwords, where set, are stored using industry-standard hashing, never as plain text. Access to the underlying database is restricted to the application server; administrative credentials and payment/communication provider keys are kept on the server and are never included in the mobile apps. Problem photos are stored in a private location and are only made viewable, briefly, to the customer who uploaded them and the technician assigned to that job.
We retain account and booking information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to resolve disputes, maintain financial records, or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time - see Section 9.
You can ask us to: tell you what personal data we hold about you; correct information that is inaccurate; and delete your account and associated personal data, subject to what we need to retain for legitimate business or legal reasons (for example, records of a completed payment). To exercise any of these, contact us using the details in Section 12.
Repair does not currently offer in-app self-service account deletion. To request that your account and personal data be deleted, email us at support@ripr.fun from the mobile number or email associated with your account. We will confirm your identity and process the request within a reasonable time, retaining only what we are required to keep for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Repair is intended for use by adults booking home services and by adult technicians providing them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time as the platform changes. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Repair after a change means you accept the updated policy.
For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at support@ripr.fun.
This policy is effective as of 6 November 2026.
